ClamCase not "pairing" with iPAD - any ideas?

Just received my clamcase and attached my iPAD. I got the bluetooth connection but it will not "pair" with my iPAD. So that means I can't use the the clamcase keyboard. Can't find anything on the clamcase site about this. If anyone has any tips - please share! Thanks

What steps are you following to accomplish the pairing?

How do I pair my CLAMCASE™ keyboard with my iPad?
It only takes a couple quick steps to pair your CLAMCASE™ keyboard with your iPad. Upon inserting your iPad into your CLAMCASE™, manually power on your iPad on by hitting the iPad home key and slide to unlock the screen. Once your iPad is powered on,
Select SETTINGS
Select GENERAL
Select BLUETOOTH
Select ON
Now the iPad will be searching for Bluetooth devices. Hold the CLAMCASE™ Pair key for 5 seconds (2nd key from the right on the top with the Bluetooth symbol) until the power/pair LED starts continuously flashing. A dialogue with the numeric pair code will appear on your iPad. Enter this code using the CLAMCASE™ keyboard, then press the enter key on your keyboard to finish pairing your CLAMCASE™ with the iPad. Now your iPad is connected to your CLAMCASE™. Verify functionality by pressing the HOME key on the keyboard to bring your iPad back to home.
